PAN camera can be steered up to +/- 26 degrees across the track to provide stereoscopic data and to improve the revisit to 5 days in case of IRS-1C and 3 days in case of IRS-1D. Linear Imaging Self-scanning Sensor (LISS-III) operating in four bands - two in Visible, one in Near Infrared (V/NIR) and one in Short wave Infrared (SWIR) range. It provides a ground resolution of 23. 5m in V/NIR bands and 70. 5 m in SWIR band with a swath of 141 kms and 148 kms in V/NIR and SWIR bands respectively. LISS-III data provides continuity to users who are familiar with the usage of IRS-1A/1B LISS-III and Landsat TM data. Wide Field Sensor (WiFS) a medium resolution camera with spatial resolution of 188 m operates in two bands with a swath of 810 kms. Due to its large swath, WiFS provides a revisit of 5days.
