Component 1 - Indus Basin Knowledge Platform


A wealth of information exists on the basin, but it is scattered, hard to access and, as a result, rarely cited or used in policy making and practice. The objective of this component is to make existing information more easily accessible to inform decision-making.

Work done

Indus Basin Knowledge Platform (IBKP), an interactive online one-stop 'Knowledge Portal' has been developed by IWMI. IBKP allows decision makers and the wider public access to information which will inform and enable more effective responses to multiple development challenges. Salient features of IBKP:
